Rather than focusing on the treatment of one disease or patient population, family practitioners are often the doctors that people see for their everyday ailments, like cold and flu or respiratory infections, and health screenings.

When necessary, family practitioners will provide referrals for conditions that require the expertise of another specialist. The doctors may also provide physicals, inoculations, prenatal care, treat chronic diseases, like diabetes and asthma, and provide advice on disease prevention. She is a cruel woman. First she made me cry by strait up calling me fat and accusing me of not trying to losing weight when I really have tried very hard and failed. Then when I started crying she laughed at me.

She laughed me right in my face. I will never go back to her and I don't think anyone should. She didn't seem very knowledgable in any medications I mentioned or conditions I brought up. My father is a doctor Also she was rude. When I mentioned that I didn't feel her saying I was fat just so blatantly and accusing me of not trying to loses weight she screamed at me that I was attacking her and that she I had a lot of thinking to do before I would be allowed to come back to her office.

I'm not sure if there is something deeper going on with her but people who genuinely need help with a problem stay away. I travel with my husband and just so happened to find her at a urgent care facility So i went back to Dr.

Frame and she is now my primary care physician while we are in West Virginia SHE cares, she listens, she understands me just like my Dr i've had for almost 20 years at home Thank God i found this little Facility Garner She is amazing as well Thanks Guys for taking good care of me at my home away from home.. Reviews Showing 3 of 3. She is an excellent, caring Dr. WE just love her Spends Time with Me. The food was so good and filling! Excellent getaway in a very scenic, lovely location! Amazed at how well stocked the house was.. The welcoming committee the cats! I would highly recommend this rental to everyone and look forward to our next visit. Nice clean home in the mountains, we stayed there one night and were very comfortable even with a group.

Due to unexpected circumstances, Jeannie was unable to be in town during our stay. However, she was very considerate and open as we reworked the arrival and stay plans. Her directions to the house were accurate, and the house itself was very quaint and homey.

The surrounding area was beautiful - mountains, fields, and the small waterfall just up the adjacent stream. We enjoyed our stay for sure! We had a great time being there it was nice and quiet and the middle of nowhere a great View wish there was a better service out there had a hard time reaching family and getting ahold of people there's not much to do for a little kid with no TV or anything but with the WiFi usage she was able to watch TV on her iPad and she loved getting in the shower and the cats outside.

The home is completely renovated. The beds are comfortable. The location is perfect. The river provided kayaking right to the property. Flower garden and yard complete the picture along with a riverfront gazebo to spend time with a good book. You will not be disappointed.

Lois' river house is absolutely amazing. She has done so much with this house. She was an excellent host, everything we needed and much more. We even enjoyed a couple conversations with her about the historic town in which her house is located. This is a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting the area! Lois has a lovely remodeled home! She keeps it immaculate and has added many special touches.

We especially enjoyed sitting out on her back porch with the flowing river right behind the house. There was not a lot to do in the town, but if you enjoy kayaking and a quiet relaxing atmosphere, you will love it. Lois was a wonderful host! She was friendly and considerate of my space and privacy. I very much appreciated the coffee she made me each morning she's thoughtful that way and I had free range of the kitchen and living areas so I didn't have to feel cooped up.

The River House was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and inviting. Next time I'm in the area, I plan to stay again! This was by far one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed in! Lois was very kind and helpful, and the local scenery was beautiful! We do plan to book again! If you are looking for a place in this neighborhood, this is it. A great home, beautiful bedroom, en a vary nice host with lots of tips to do.

We loved Loiss en her home. The Borns were very welcoming. Our beds were fresh and pretty and super comfortable, We were served a delightful hot breakfast.

The house was easy to find even in the dark and was 5 minutes from the four lane. House is rustic, but clean and comfortable. This is a rural neighborhood populated with small farms and small country homes.

John and Angela have a small farm and were wonderful hosts. Angie was extremely helpful answering questions about dining options for our restricted diets.

We were able to text back and forth as we traveled to their home and she was more than gracious. My family including an infant and I were just passing through the area and needed a place for an overnight stay to break the journey. All we needed was a comfortable bed to rest but the breakfast was a bonus. You cannot beat John and Angela's hospitality. They were very welcoming, attentive, and responsive to our needs. The highlight of our experience was the wonderful and warm breakfast that Angela served up.

It was very tasty and filling with locally grown ingredients, just what we needed for the journey ahead. She also took note of our gluten-free and vegetarian requirements. I would definitely recommend this place for a taste of country hospitality. Angela was very accommodating with our last minute request to stay on her farm. She was warm and welcoming. The house was clean and charming.

We had a great sleep, comfortable beds and fresh linens - the bedrooms are beautiful. Our one year old daughter enjoyed exploring the grounds in the morning after a truly delicious breakfast. We enjoyed the antique touches throughout the house. It was a stay we won't soon forget - and hope to be back next summer when the berries are in season.

Very quiet country setting, waking up to the crowing of the roosters made this country girl happy. The breakfast went above and beyond our expectations, very very good. We booked 3 hours b4 arrival, everything was ready for us, the beds were very comfortable. A perfect blend of a secluded place in the woods w a very modern and beautifully built home. Hot tub was excellent. Room for all and a great compound with lots of trails to check out. Exactly what we were looking for. One mile hike down to the river.

Hiking trails surround the house. The house is perfect for a group of people. We highly recommend the House. This place is awesome.

The view from the cabin is a wonderful sight to wake up to in the morning. All of the trails on the property made it easy to go hike and explore and the views were incredible. The cabin is even bigger in person than I imagined. It was a perfect weekend getaway. I would love to come back in the summer and spend a whole week here. Very quite and secluded feel but not too far from other places in the area.

We went down to Fayetteville and did some hiking and got dinner. It is a very cool little town. Pervis was a wonderful host and very attentive. We hiked alot through the New River Gorge during our stay. The highlight of our stay, honestly was the 3 last days we spent on this property. The views and trails rivaled anything we had previously seen. The hike down to the confluence of the Gauley and Meadow rivers was outstanding. Must see, must do. Heathers Place was great! Plenty of space and everything you need to stay comfortably.

Quiet and good location to get to multiple activities. Heather was responsive and very hospitable. We had an amazing time at Heather's place. It was exactly what we wanted and it exceeded expectations with the beds offered. We booked last minute and she was awesome! The apartment was very big, it was a great experience to stay there. Everything was super clean and very charming. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the looney farm very much, defenetly recommended!

This was a great place to stay! My family and I were visiting West Virginia to go white water rafting and this location was about 1. Very easy access, good amount of living space, large bathroom.

They were very prepared with all of the amenities and toiletries that can be forgotten! They also left a binder with activities in the area as well as recommendations for food. Although there was no AC in the apartment space we had no problems with temperature, so that was never an issue. There was open WiFi which was very convenient. Also, having a full kitchen and washer and dryer with easy access was very nice.

I would recommend this air bnb to anyone visiting West Virginia! Great place to stay and super nice hosts! This is a great house and a great location to stay! We came in later than expected on motorcycles with no provisions and were pleasantly surprised with a cold beverage in the refrigerator and coffee to hold us over for the night until we could get to the grocery!

Will definitely keep this info for a revisit! This lovely log cabin style home was perfect for 5 adults during a seven night stay. The cabin is on the main road of the lake is a convenient 5 minute drive to Summerville Lake. The lake is gorgeous, super clean and offers kayakers, fisher people, boaters and swimmers a variety of different spots to access the lake. The house was spotlessly clean. The cabin is homey, nicely decorated and the Master bed was very comfortable.

The master bath is exceptionally well done. The kitchen exceeded expectations. It was well stocked with not only more than adequate cookware, but also a nice pantry that guests are invited to use. You could bake a cake and cook a full meal. There is a gas and BBQ grill on the back porch.

The house is located on a road that does have lake traffic, but sits far enough back off the street that one is comfortable and we often sat on the front porch. Across the street from the house is a large field where you'll spot wild turkey and deer. Down the street from the cabin is Fat Eddie's ice cream which we never got to stop at because the line was always so long! It must be good! Every day we explored another part of the lake with our kayaks and also spent an afternoon exploring the Gauley River.

Stop by Gauley Pottery for some great and reasonably priced pottery and some even better tips from a local that has lived in the area for 25 years. We have begun a love affair with West Virginia and can't wait to return!!! Perfect place to stay! I read a review before the stay that said the pictures do no justice and it could not have been more correct!

The cabin is lovely, warm and inviting. It has everything you need! The only item I could not find and it would not be expected was a citronella candle for sitting out back at night. The lights really attract the moths. Love love love it!!! Beautiful house and lovely place. Right next to summersville retret and v close to all the super adventures.

Jessica and her husband were extremely helpful, very resposive and the "best hosts. Do not hesitate to book this property!! The cabin appears to be prepped for a magazine shoot, and there are so many thoughtful touches and conveniences. Our family of 5 kids aged 19, 17, 12 stayed here for a hiking and white water rafting adventure, and I think some of us slept better in this cabin than in our own beds at home!

So comfortable, meticulously clean, and very conveniently located. We cooked on the grill one night, and the kids put their phones down hooray!

We had absolutely no issues, but when I did message Jessica with a couple minor questions, her responses were immediate and considerate. I especially loved the resident bunny apparently a neighbor from the woods that visits often?!

We definitely hope to return - thanks Jessica! We so enjoyed our stay! The airbnb photos do not do the space justice.. We were looking for a space that allowed for quick access to the outdoors, but would offer the comforts of a home for our 2 month old — this space was a perfect fit.

Absolutely awesome, best cabin we have ever stayed in. Cabin was spotless and the kitchen was perfectly stocked. Jessica was a great host. Everything was just as promised. I loved all the personal touches. It made our stayed more comfortable and relaxing. She knocked it out of the park with this cabin!!!!

Great place, super close to the river for rafting and paintballing. Would recommend to anyone, small group , individuals or family gatherings. This is a great place to stay! Joey and Elsie were great. The house is located within 12 minutes from New River Gorge Bridge and Summersville Lake where you can enjoy a beautiful view. The house was clean secluded. I really enjoyed the outdoor spa. This house was perfect for our family get together.

Great view of the farm off the back porch and plenty of room for the dogs to play. House was clean and well stocked. Elsie was great to answer any questions. The house sits at the end of a long, sometimes rough, gravel road. All in all a very positive experience. We hope to be back again.

Check in was super easy. House is in an absolutely beautiful location. Would stay here again without a doubt. This place is amazing and very much exceeded my expectations! It is on a farm with horses that came right up to the fence behind the house: Hot tub was great amenity, place was very clean and the owners were so helpful and accommodating. The house includes a fire pit as well firewood provided , which was awesome for the group we had to be able to hang around in the evening.

Overall great experience and would highly recommend it to anyone. Also, the area we were in parks, views, trails was gorgeous and there is so much to do and see! Very quiet, peaceful and beautiful place to stay. The best was sitting in the whirlpool at night watching the fields glow with fireflies.

Beautiful home with private surroundings. We enjoyed a hike down to the gorgeous river. Pervis was very helpful with all of our needs and quick to respond to any questions.

We really enjoyed our weekend! We enjoyed a terrific three-night stay at the Vandalia House over the Thanksgiving holiday with wonderful weather and room to spread out and enjoy the property which is situated on a high bluff overlooking the Meadow and Gauley Rivers, with the sound of the white water far below, and took a network of trails right out the front door to reach some pretty vantage points, plus a nice out-and-back hike down to the water.

Our family had loads of space to toss football and bocce, and even play soccer. Hot tub was a nice option for many as well. We managed to arrange comfortable sleeping options for seven adults and six children, cooked two large dinners in the well-equipped kitchen, and kept the indoor fireplace with a great draft and outdoor fire pit raging throughout our stay with the assistance of on-site wood delivery and assistance with our other requests from a very attentive owner.

All in all our family agreed this was a great spot to spend some holiday time together! Great comfy cabin in the quiet of the West Virginia mountains within a 30 minute drive of the rafting company were used to raft the awesome upper gauley river.

Pervis was very nice and helpful. A great place for hiking, catching up with friends, sunrises, and bon fires. Not too far from great restaurants, river trips and scenic over looks.

House is fully stocked with all of the essentials. Our group looks forward to going back! Beautiful and relaxing cabin, had an amazing time with friends and family. We are all looking forward to coming back. Pervis is a great host.

Vandalia house is near golf and rafting and Pervis provided great recommendations. Great location to enjoy the outdoor beauty of West Virginia. What an incredible hidden gem! Just enough remote and to be right next to a waterfall to jump in and cool off! If you are wanting to disconnect from your busy life, this is the place to go!

Can't wait to go back! Our stay at Hominy Falls was wonderful. There is a spectacular view of the creek and waterfall. Firepit allowed for a cozy and relaxing night. We will definitely be back for another trip!

This place was charming to say the least. The area was beautiful and the neighbors were extremely freindly. It's a hidden jewel for sure. Mark helped us greatly and there was even a book with information about sightseeing, restaurants, etc. I had a great stay and plan on coming back for more eventually!

Nancy's cozy cottage was in a beautiful setting, and they are located in a perfect spot if you are travelling around West Virginia. She was very helpful in giving us tips about where to eat and some fun things to do in town. Also a huge help about what to see in do throughout the state. We can't recommend her place enough! What a lovely space! Truly felt like a home away from home. If you're needing to stay in or around Buckhannon, check here first! You won't regret it. Great place to spend a few nights in West Virginia.

Nancy was a perfect host. The listing of amenities is perfectly accurate. Loved the candy and cookies! The place cannot be cleaner. If you are in the area, you won't find better! The last night there we caught an awesome heat lighting storm through the amazing pine trees. An autumn getaway may be in the works.

Thanks for sharing your lovely home. The cottage was perfect for our needs and very nicely furnished. It was exactly as as advertised on the web- site.

Additionally, the host, Nancy, was very friendly, professional and respon-sive to all our needs and questions. You will definitely enjoy this stay. Lois is a wonderful host. She epitomizes The best about southern hospitality in her charming home on the banks of a beautiful river in Gassaway West Virginia.

The house was incredibly clean, impeccably decorated and perfectly cozy during our stay. Lois has thought of all the extra touches to make a stay in her home memorable. Would Definitely stay again! Our first AirBnB experience was nearly perfect! Sarah's property is squeaky clean, well appointed and updated, and flush with so many special touches! Sarah was kind enough to let us have an early check-in and when I had a question about amenities her response was lightning quick.

The pool was very clean and inviting but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Sarah's house was lovely. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great with plenty of amenities. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. Thank you for everything. We needed a weekend away from everything and this was just what the doctor prescribed. The pool was wonderful. Our 3 year old daughter got to show off her swimming skills and most importantly we were able to rest and relax.

This place is amazing. We will definitely stay again. Sarah was an excellent host, prepared and stocked the house impeccably with thoughtful touches. It was modern, clean and comfortable. We stayed with another couple and our two kids for a weekend of climbing. The house was a perfect location for us, only 15 minute drive from the trailhead at Summerville, and with 3 bedrooms and a full eat in kitchen there was plenty of room.

The kids loved the pool. The back deck is surrounded by woods and very peaceful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a wonderful time!! Immaculately clean, very comfortable, and the home is set up with everything we needed! We had 8 adults and an infant in our group and we all had a comfortable place to sleep, a seat at the kitchen table, and enough towels and hot water to go around after long days climbing the NRG. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans so it was really easy for us to make dinners for the group.

The pool area was perfectly clean and well kept- unfortunately it was too cold for us to get in. Will book again for sure! This was our second stay here, and it was just as wonderful as the first time! I would greatly recommend this to anyone. Very clean, updated, and peaceful. This location is an oasis that is bound to make your travel better.

Jen treats you like family and is an outstanding host. She cooked an amazing dinner for us on both nights and tailored a high protein breakfast for our group before a big race day. The setting is very scenic and we enjoyed smores and a fire in the evenings.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Jen is very personal and we loved talking to her and playing with her dog Gypsy. Staying here is like coming home each evening! I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this listing. Michelle made me feel incredibly comfortable from the minute I booked the trip. Immediately when you walk in, you are greeted by a very inviting courtyard. Michelle was there to welcome me and show me to where I would be staying.

The pictures are nice but don't do justice to how gorgeous the place really is. Everything a guest could possibly need and more was made available to me and she made sure to answer any potential questions I may have. I was traveling far from out of town Buffalo, NY to a wedding and had never visited this area before. The last thing you want to encounter is stress and she made sure that my place would not be a source of frustration whatsoever. Everything from making sure I had the wi-fi password to watch the SmarTV to temperature control to extra towels, she had it covered.

I would recommend the place 10 times out of 10 based off of my experience. This home is in a wonderful location in a quaint town. The host was wonderful and made the experience so pleasant. We got much more than expected. The back porch was the best. Michelle's place was perfect and she was an amazing host!! Awesome little extras in the bathroom and kitchen and she made us feel so welcome.

They were both incredibly clean, comfy, and well decorated. The flats in this building were close to everything--shops, restaurants, the asylum, etc. Great venue for visiting family in Weston. Able to sleep multiple people and was spacious as to not feel as if we were on top of each other. Michelle's home was incredible! Airy and spacious, with a comfortable bed, washer and dryer, and full-size kitchen. She made NUMEROUS accommodations on our behalf, and was very quick to respond to inquiries, including coming to my rescue when I was locked out, and bringing us a corkscrew when we "had" to have wine on our last night there.

As a fellow host, I was very impressed by her efforts; I literally cannot say enough good things about Michelle! Michelle's walk up AirBnB was awesome! Great location for hiking, genealogy research and exploring the local area.

The walkup was beautifully decorated and so comfortable! The veranda was a great place for morning coffee or tea. We had an awesome stay at the crash pad. We brought 14 guys for a retreat and they hosted is wonderfully for an additional fee for so many guys. Some of us camped and others slept in the crash pad. The surroundings are beautiful and Jeannie and bill are both hospitable and a pleasure to talk to! Just what we were hoping for. This place is awesome for a relaxing get away!

Jeannie and Bill are great hosts who are attentive to needs though you can hardly have any as they fix you up with most everything. The cabin has a stash of essentials, cooking equipment, and quite a few items just in case you forget like little flashlights! The bed is really comfortable and the facilities are impeccable. The property is beautiful and offered serene walks and naps communing with nature.

I highly recommend spending a few days here to relax and enjoy. Jeannie was a fantastic host, gave us a tour, walked us through the map told us how to contact her in an emergency, introduced us to her dogs then, left us to play on the acre plot of land. We came super prepared to find that she had provided us with snacks, water, bug spray and baby wipes all you campers and military members understand the value of those lol. The Description of The Crash Pad undersells the place.

It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, with fresh linens, blankets, pillows and a lantern. I was expecting one step above camping but its more like escaping to a cabin in a less distracted place. There is about acres of beautiful land to hike with well maintained paths. She has awesome dogs that will hike with you and if you get lost, they will guide you back home.

If you're a nature lover this is the place to be, I happened to get there to see the daytime chorus of cicadas and the night time chorus of katydids. Great place for bird watching, I lost count of the number of different species that I saw there. I loved the set up at the pond, I recommend being there to see the sunset reflect off of the disco ball.

This is a great get away place, and I know that I plan on going back in the future. What a great place! A really comfortable place to spend a few days Although it's very remote, that's what we were looking for.

Amazing land to hike on, super quiet, lovely fire by the pond, simple nights of reading by our lantern. We only felt sad that we didn't have a postcard for the mailbox in the middle of the forest, and a refrigerator magnet for the walls of the cabin, which are made out of metal.

We think that this should be a "thing" Great place to rejuvenate the mind, the body, and the spirit. Jeannie and Bill take care of their property and make sure you have everything you need. Jeannie and Bill are wonderful hosts! Bill stayed up late to greet my friend and I and both welcomed and supported us during the whole stay! Jeannie is a thoughtful host and has provided lanterns, equipment, snacks, and drinks; much more than expected!

The space, company, and property is incredible and we cannot wait to return! Jeanie and Bill were easy to get a hold of. The directions are spot on and easy to follow. If you have a small car, you need to go slow over the pot holes. About half way down, Bill met us on the road on his four wheeler, got us ice, fire wood, and made sure everything was good for us.

He even started the fire. After that he talked to us for a bit and that was it. Theres a watering hole at the top of the hill thats real cool. The only thing I thought would be awesome is if they put a fire pit right in front of the shack. Other than that, real great hosts. Had a great time, Jeannie and Bill were excellent hosts, and the location is very beautiful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice secluded place to hike and relax. Heather provided a wonderful stay at her home.

I enjoyed waking up and being able to walk out on the balcony and have a cup of coffee. My interactions with Heather before the stay were informative and helpful. Heather and her family are so kind and Gaige is tips about the area. We were only there for a short time, but it was like talking to a friend, learning about the area and their hobbies. Heather graciously makes her family you yours. Beautiful home, wonderful people, great stay!!! My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the space.

Heather is a great host!! The family was incredibly hospitable and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them. Hope to visit again! Find Places to Stay in Gassaway on Airbnb. Discover entire homes and private rooms perfect for any trip. Vacation Rentals in Gassaway.
